Eddie Mathews played Third for Boston Braves (1952), Milwaukee Braves (1953-1965), Atlanta Braves (1966), Houston Astros (1967) and Detroit Tigers (1967-68). In 1967, 9x All-Star Eddie Mathews, was the seventh player to join the 500 home-run club. He finished his career with 512 HRs and joined the Hall of Fame in 1978. In 2001, Mathews died from complications of pneumonia.
