Ted Williams was a two-time American League MVP (1946, 1949), had a career batting average of .344, with 521 home runs and was the last player to bat .400 in a single session. He also won the Triple Crown in both 1942 and 1947 and was an All-Star 17 times. He did all this even though he missed 3 sessions due to WWII. He retired as a Red Sox in 1960 and was inducted into Baseball's Hall Of Fame in 1966. He died July 5, 2002. This jersey is PSA/DNA certified B41087.
